Toronto’s Sweetheart Ayah’s with Debut Album

TORONTO and LOS ANGELES (June 3rd, 2009) - After busting onto the scene last year with her Problem Woman mixtape and numerous cameos and features with hip-hop legends and newcomers, Ayah was more than ready to make a lane for herself in the music world.

On April 15th, 2009 Ayah began what is sure to be an everlasting imprint on the music scene with her debut album, 4:15. Titled as such because it’s in the wee hours of the morning when Ayah feels, “the realest, the most creative and the most vulnerable,” 4:15 is laced with gems featuring production from the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff, Slakah the Beatchild and Lyve, to name a few.

After an astounding response to the album through her website, www.ayahmusic.com, E1 Music (formerly Koch Records) will be digitally distributing the album on popular music sites such as iTunes, Amazon, Zune, dozens of cell phone carriers, ringtone sites and more.

Ayah has often said, “I know there are people in all corners of the world who will be touched, inspired and able to relate to my music,” and with her digital release today she’s sure to garner new fans and please those who have been patiently waiting.

When asked how she feels about having her album available digitally thru E1 Music, Ayah states, “I have supporters in countries I hadn't even considered to have known about me, so to have my album available digitally through the internet, and for them to be able to get it, is really exciting!”
