New SGS Competence Center Wind Energy in Spain

SGS opened a new Satellite Competence Center in Spain under the corporate umbrella of SGS Wind Energy Services. This new competence center is responsible for the development of Wind Energy Services in Spain.

The Satellite Competence Center Wind Energy in Spain provides both technical services and related commercial services. This includes support for technical questions, the supply and updating of marketing material for services offered, taking into account the latest technological developments. In addition the team provides ongoing internal training for SGS Inspectors in wind turbine inspections, whilst incorporating the professional role of representing SGS at related industry seminars and conferences.

SGS Wind Energy Services works as an independent project surveyor carrying out certification, inspection, project monitoring and due diligence evaluation of wind farm projects both onshore and offshore. Through providing experienced staff and technical expertise in wind technology, SGS Wind Energy Services aims to improve trust in wind farm projects and to ensure the quality of wind farms in general.
